About the role

As CTO – Battery & Energy Solutions, you will lead and develop our Engineering department, currently composed of 3 engineers, and act as the technical authority within battery and energy solutions. You will play a key role in strengthening our technical capabilities and positioning Cebon for future growth within energy solutions. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on involvement, working closely with Sales, Product, suppliers and customers across the European Group.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Lead, manage and develop the Engineering team, including priorities, workload and ways of working
  • Define and drive the technical roadmap for battery and energy solutions
  • Monitor and evaluate technology trends within batteries, BMS, chargers, power electronics and energy storage
  • Lead technical discussions within OEM projects, from qualification through implementation
  • Translate customer requirements into system architectures and technical specifications
  • Oversee technical feasibility, validation and solution design across projects
  • Support Sales in customer meetings, tenders and technical negotiations
  • Collaborate with Product Management on product development and supplier selection
  • Drive make-or-buy decisions and technical evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and quality requirements
  • Identify, assess and mitigate technical risks in projects
  • Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools and documentation

 

We believe you will succeed if you:

  • Have a strong technical background within batteries, energy systems, BMS or power electronics
  • Have experience leading engineering teams and technical projects
  • Have worked in customer-driven or OEM environments
  • Are experienced in translating complex technical requirements into structured and scalable solutions
  • Are comfortable making decisions in complex environments and challenging both suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Ideally have experience building or scaling engineering capabilities

 

You combine technical depth with strong business understanding and enjoy working close to customers, sales and product teams. As a person, you are structured, proactive and take ownership in a hands-on leadership role. You communicate clearly and confidently in English, both written and spoken, and build trust across teams and stakeholders.
